Season 3 Artwork Now Available for All DeGods on ETH

On December 3, [de]labs cofounder Chill announced an update that the DeGods community members have been waiting for: Season 3 artwork is now unlocked and free for all DeGods holders on the Ethereum platform. 

This announcement follows the sunsetting of Points Parlor, an ad-based business model originally designed to engage holders through gamification. 

Now that Points Parlor has been archived, Season 3 artwork is available for all DeGods collectors. According to the announcement, the rollout aims to standardize the marketplace's view of the collection and enhance the overall user experience.

DeGods holders can toggle between all three distinct artwork Seasons on degods.com, using de[id] wallet delegation. No hardware wallet connection is required.

Art Blocks Celebrates 3 Years of Innovation in Generative Art

Art Blocks, the pioneering generative art platform, celebrated its third anniversary on November 27 — aka “Block Friday.”

The community celebrated with a series of online events. The day kicked off with 'Block Talk' featuring Art Blocks CEO and founder Erick “Snowfro” Calderon. Then came an X (Twitter) Space session with fans and featured artists. 

In a Q&A on Art Blocks’ blog, Snowfro reflected on the journey since its inception. Notably, he highlights the waves of skepticism-turned-enthusiasm for NFTs, which of course Art Blocks has skillfully surfed in its three-year run.

In the interview, Snowfro attributes Art Blocks’ success to compassion, adding “every step we have taken has been based on putting ourselves into the shoes of collectors and artists.”

BAYC Band, KINGSHIP Debuts in Roblox Metaverse with New Interactive Experience

KINGSHIP, a musical metaverse ensemble inspired by Bored Ape Yacht Club, launched its first Roblox experience, enticing players with a rescue mission on KINGSHIP Island. 

The immersive RPG game marks the Bored Ape IP's debut on Roblox, blending music, adventure and a little mystery. 

It started when KINGSHIP took to X, calling for help in a “virtual rescue mission” because “the Apes were missing.” Players were invited to search for missing Apes on KINGSHIP Islands in Roblox at on November 30 at 12pm PT, piquing players’ interest and enticing participants to partake in the interactive adventure. Throughout the game, live players joined forces to reunite the band through quests and challenges. 

Looking ahead, KINGSHIP says they plan to expand this universe and soon offer 3D Ape avatars, exclusive items and a Floating Villa for NFT holders.

Casio Announces Launch of Limited Edition VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs

Casio's G-Shock is set to make a splash in the digital realm with the upcoming launch of its VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs on December 15. 

This exclusive drop will feature two unique designs: the vibrant VGA-001 with a balloon concept, and the innovative VGA-002 showcasing a leaf spring concept. Each design is limited to just 1,000 editions, priced at 0.1 ETH each, making for a total of 2,000 coveted NFTs. 

The minting of the G-Shock Creator Pass is currently free, even sparing the gas fee. Existing G-Shock Creator Pass holders get exclusive pre-sale access. Prior to the sale, Casio will distribute additional G-SHOCK CREATOR PASS NFTs, offering advance purchasing rights and community participation on Discord.  

The sale follows the introduction of the VIRTUAL G-SHOCK project in September 2023.

Parallel to Host Tournament with Hearthstone

Digital trading card game, Parallel TCG is making its esports debut with a $25,000 tournament featuring Hearthstone pros. The event, set to start on December 8, 2023, will run over two days with a Swiss Style format, ensuring all players compete in the same number of rounds. 

GAME3 Awards Voting Closes on December 7

The annual web3 gaming awards known as the GAM3 Awards have announced final nominees, featuring 40 games vying for over $2 million in prizes. The winners, decided by 90% jury and 10% community voting, will be announced on December 14, 2023. Voters are encouraged to cast their ballots now on the GAM3 Awards website.

OpenseaGG To Host Upcoming My Pet Hooligan Tournament on Twitch

OpenSeaGG and The Karrot Gang are officially gearing up for the latest My Pet Hooligan tournament on Twitch, which will feature a unique web2 versus web3 format with a $15,000 prize pool. 

Open qualifiers commence on December 9th at 2pm EST, leading up to the final showdown on December 15th at 6pm EST. Participants can register now and join the competition in-game on December 9th.

Pixelcraft Studios Conducts Playtest for ‘Gotchi Guardians’

Gotchi Guardians, Pixelcraft Studios' latest multiplayer tower defense game in the Aavegotchi ecosystem, is debuting its first public playtest. Accessible on Windows and Mac, the game blends strategy and survival. Previews will run from December 1 to 4.
