Darran Garnham: “Bad Egg Co.” hatched over two years ago. We've been meticulously crafting the brand ever since, building a solid foundation before unveiling our first piece: the digital collectible collection. But trust me, this is just the beginning. We have a whole nest of content in development, ready to surprise and delight our community.

OpenSea: What inspired the unique skateboarding and rebellious vibe of “Bad Egg Co.”?

Darran Garnham: We’re huge fans of street culture—skateboarding, BMX, all that stuff. These sports are more than tricks; they’re a form of self-expression and rebellion. We’ve channeled this energy into “Bad Egg Co.”, creating characters that are both misfits and heroes. Plus, there’s something magical about how a skateboard can be both a ride and a piece of art, just like our Bad Eggs.

OpenSea: As the founder and CEO of Toikido, what’s been the most exciting part of bringing “Bad Egg Co.” to life in the digital collectible space?

Darran Garnham: Working with brands like “VeeFriends” and “Cool Cats” has been a blast, but creating “Bad Egg Co.” from scratch is on another level. Watching our ideas turn into tangible products and seeing the community embrace these creations is incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s toys, digital collectibles, or animations, seeing our Bad Eggs come to life is an unmatched experience.

Darran Garnham: The one of ones are twelve unique Bad Egg characters. These aren’t just variations; each one is a standalone piece of art, capturing a unique character within the Bad Egg universe.

Darran Garnham: Everyone loves the mystery of an egg. Is it a dinosaur egg? A mystery egg? This concept of surprise and discovery is perfect for storytelling across different media. We’re excited to see how we can collaborate and expand the brand, making other characters and talents into Bad Eggs. It’s going to be a fun ride.
