Sam Spratt announces Luci: Chapter 6
Sam Spratt, the digital artist known for his narrative-driven “Luci” series, has released the latest installment. Titled “X.Masquerade,” Chapter 6 builds on the evolving Luci storyline that first dropped in October 2021. Since its debut, collectors known as “players” have followed and shaped Luci’s fate, engaging with Spratt’s world through digital paintings, written psalms, and community-driven decisions.
As Spratt wrote on X, Chapter 6 was inspired by his daughter’s birth. “I made it from her first ultrasound,” he said. “The first time we heard her heartbeat.”
The drop unfolds in five stages: Things began on Feb. 4, when players received invitations to participate. A public drawing commences on Feb. 18, followed by a party centered on themes of creation, destruction, and balance on Feb. 21. On March 4, the Council of Luci will gather for deliberations, culminating in the reveal of finalists on March 10.
