Thank you so much for your support in the last year. I began this NFT journey in August of last year and while its been a test resolve and perseverance, my work resonated with you all and you encouraged me to continue on this journey.
I am sending you this limited edition NFT as a thank you.
This is an image depicting the theme of my next major release "It was all Yellow" , a 30 photo collection dropping in July 2022. Holding this will also grant you early access to the collection prior to drop.
Thanks, the community is what makes this amazing.
Over the spring and summer of 2022 I will be exploring what happens to a space when an unexpected, or incongruous object is placed within it. In this case, a simple yellow chair.
I chose yellow for several reasons. In Newfoundland, where I am from, yellow is a traditional color to paint fishing dories and I wanted that connection to place. In addition, the color yellow is associated with recall and memories, and I wanted the viewer to feel some sort of emotional or spiritual connection to the space. There is, in my opinion, now stronger anchor than memory.
I chose the simple kitchen chair for its association with warmth, fellowship, togetherness and comfort.
This collection will be dropped in a staggered approach, with new work monthly.
Total 1/1's available will end at 20.
Thank You
