Fashion, like art and design, can be considered a form of alchemy. Art is extremely effective in converting base metals - materials such as canvas, fiberglass, shark meat and videotape - into raw materials for the auction room. Fashion does the same with cotton and polyester, silk and wool. At the same time, fashion directly affects almost all of us - both those who are engaged in the manufacture of fashionable clothes and accessories, and those who wear it all. People define themselves, their faith and morality through fashion. But at the same time, fashion is the driving force behind industrialization.
