Hidden Paths intend to give you a fun reflection. For me, we are like these characters, somewhere in connection, at intersections, entangled in worlds and stories of other people and things. An interaction in constant movement, interaction and change. We walk and draw, leaving our tracks and thus, we are composing a much larger form, in which we are inserted. Perhaps an illustrated way to stop and observe what drawing we are making in our lives? What about others? What marks in the world's great design are we leaving? This work, which is for sale, participated in the 2016 Feira Parte, represented by Galeria Casa das Artes. Feira Parte is one of the largest art fairs in São Paulo. Cataloged work.

This work belongs to a series of drawings that I call "Intricate Worlds", drawings in black and white, full of small images. By far, an almost abstract work of art. Up close, a profusion of small worlds. An artistic phase. I stopped this series and today I only do it when I receive a private order, whether from a person or company.

Since 1984, I'm drawing what I call "Intricate Worlds", a series whose purpose is to show large images, full of figures and chaotic situations, which are interrelated along the support. There are worlds and characters, builders of the macro-form that, in turn, depends on them for its existence. A symbiotic relationship. Abstract and unknown of the characters, the macro-form can only be perceived by them when they are "outside" of their own worlds. The drawings will be "suggesting" of themselves, creating stories, situations and scenes inspired by the everyday, often cheerful and comical, sometimes angry and gloomy. I like to instigate the curiosity of the beholder. It is also a picture of how I feel my daily life. An increasingly entangled life, saturated with information, the predominance of mind, diversity of value judgments, exposure to any type and idea that connectivity allows. One world or more than one, fully Intricate.
