A Lianolia mono cultivar (Olea europaea var. Craneorpha) native to the Ionian Sea region. It is a demanding variety that produces an exceptional quality extra virgin olive oil that is unusually high in beneficial polyphenols when grown and cared for properly.
According to international studies, the olive variety is the most important factor in determining the quality of olive fruit and oil.
