지구의 울림을 기록하는 슬리핑라이언의 사운드스케이프를 봄/여름/가을/겨울로 나뉘어 NFT로 발매합니다. 그 중 두번째 NFT는 봄비 내리는 대정향교의 소리풍경입니다. 추사 김정희가 제주도에서 유배생활을 하면서 학생들을 가르치기도 한 장소입니다. 대성전 기와 아래로 떨어지는 빗소리를 듣고 있으면, 과거와 현재를 넘나드는 경험을 하게 됩니다.
The soundscape of Sleeping Lion, which records the echo of the earth, is released as an NFT, divided into spring/summer/fall/winter. The second NFT is the soundscape of Daejeonghyanggyo Local Confucian School in spring rain. It is a place where Chusa Kim Jung-hee taught students while living in exile in Jeju Island. When you listen to the sound of rain falling down from the Daeseongjeon Hall, you experience crossing the past and the present.
슬리핑라이언은 2020년부터 자연의 소리에 동조되는 일상을 만들기 위하여, 지구에 남겨진 소리를 기록하고 아카이빙하고 있습니다. 세계자연유산, 생물권보전지역, 세계지질공원 등 세계적으로 생태적 가치를 인정받은 화산섬, 제주도를 베이스캠프 삼아 동굴, 해안, 하천, 오름, 곶자왈, 산과 숲, 목장 등 매번 놀라운 소리와 마주하고 있습니다.
더욱더 많은 사람들이 자연의 소리를 통해 자연과 교감하는 시간을 가질 수 있도록, 사운드스케이프를 활용한 아기수면앱 ‘베베슬립’을 177개국에 출시하여 운영하고 있으며, 소리풍경 체험프로그램인 ‘사운드워킹’을 제주도 전역에서 진행하고 있습니다. 슬리핑라이언이 아카이빙하는 소리풍경들은 온라인 전시공간인 '사운드벙커(www.soundbunker.net)'를 통해 만나실 수 있습니다.
자연의 소리를 통해 잃어버린 생태 감수성의 씨앗을 발견하고, 이를 회복하는 시간을 가질 수 있기를 바랍니다.
Since 2020, SleepingLion has been recording and archiving sounds left on Earth to create a daily life that is aligned with the sounds of nature. Volcanic islands that have been recognized for their ecological value, such as World Natural Heritage, Biosphere Reserve, and World Geopark, and Jeju Island are used as base camps to face amazing sounds such as caves, coasts, rivers, oreums, Gotjawal, mountains and forests, and pastures.
To help more and more people have time to interact with nature through the sounds of nature, we have launched and operated a baby sleep app called Bebeslip in 177 countries, and we are conducting a sound landscape experience program called Sound Walking throughout Jeju Island. Sound landscapes archived by SleepingLion are available through the online exhibition space 'Sound Bunker (www.soundbunker.net).
Through the sounds of nature, I hope we can find the seeds of lost ecological sensitivity and have time to recover them.
