In 1604, King James I commissioned a new English language edition of the Christian Bible. The King James Version, or KJV, would go on to shape the English-speaking world and become the most widely printed book in history. Now, for the very first time, constituent books from this work are being preserved as NFT books made from faithful scans of the KJV’s 1611 first edition.
The Book of Genesis is the first book of the KJV and the first book of the Hebrew Bible, or Old Testament, being the first of five Books of Moses that make up the Torah. Genesis begins with God’s creation of the world and ends with the Israelites enslaved in Egypt.
