The Lexicultural Propagation of Concepts is an essay that explores the way concepts move throughout cultures. The idea comes from linguistic anthropology, in which field one axiom is: language is the result of interaction between environment and individual. Language is shaped by the environment; how stunning, then, that culture itself becomes part of the environment too?

This essay was accepted and presented at the Southern California Philosophy of Language Conference in 2014, then later appeared in Philosophy of Language, a book edited by the conference organizer Brian Thomas, and published at Cambridge Scholars Publishing in 2015.
