Costume boots for the Wizard in The Wiz on Broadway, designed by Geoffrey Holder, created by Grace Costumes Inc, worn by Carl Hall in 1977, voxelized in 2021 for Cryptovoxel. The original boots are part of the Smithsonian Institution.
Duplicated introduces the inaugural exhibition of Canadian artist Antoine Lortie at Floating Point Gallery. The exhibition invites visitors to step inside two exhibitions: one in web3, in Cryptovoxel, and the second one in the virtual reality application Art Gate VR. In these two virtual environments, Antoine Lortie presents experimental works across three series of NFTs and digital wearables called “FuturPunk”, “Administrator” and “Conspirator”. Duplicated reveals the unprecedent gaps that emerge in the digital systems that humans build, and in the environments that surround them.
