Standing still on snow covered ice, I gaze ahead, my heart enticed, Cool trees in front, a mystical sight, The Sky Pond beyond, enshrouded in white.

The alpine wind, it bites and blows, But I stand tall, where the sun glows, For in this moment, I feel so free, Lost in nature's majesty.

The Loch Valle, so serene and still, A winter wonderland, a scene so chill, And as I look upon the Sky Pond, I feel a sense of peace beyond.

The clouds they gather, a misty veil, A scene so surreal, it seems so pale, But yet it draws me in, with its allure, A world so pure, so unspoiled, so sure.

The wind it howls, but I stand strong, For in this moment, I feel I belong, A part of this beauty, this land of snow, Where the mountains rise and the rivers flow.

And so I stand, with the trees and the wind, Lost in a world that is so kind, And as I gaze towards the Sky Pond, I know that here, my heart belongs.
