The Toadstool tribes plant small mushroom totems made from stone in magical gardens in order to commemorate certain events and rites of passage. These magical gardens allow these totems to grow and eventually animate. The gentle giants roam the plains around the Toadstool communes mostly ignoring anyone they come into contact with, but if anything disturbs the meditative state of the area they will become... less passive.
