This NFT is part of the “Buy My Cancer” campaign. The campaign blends science, art, medicine and technology in an effort to save lives. Microscopic photographs of real living cancer cells were taken with a confocal microscope at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice, Poland. These images were used as the basis for artwork created by world-renowned artist, SWANSKI. Funds raised go to support the treatment of a patient suffering from cancer.
Participants of the campaign are making a donation to the Alivia Cancer Foundation in return for the NFT. The NFT is a digital diploma of participation in the campaign and a confirmation of the support granted to cancer patients.
