I had a blast channeling my inner Andy Warhol for this series of images, though this work is more related to a process I used with early color xerox machines on which I’d move the image after each of several scanning passes they’d required. This resulted in multiple exposures in various colors creating a pop art/psychedelic vibe. I’ve found a way to create the same effect digitally. “A Fellow of Infinite Jest” depicts Sarah Bernhardt holding Yorick’s skull in her sensational 1899 portrayal of Hamlet on the Paris stage.
Profanity Paraffins x MiggsEye [Brendan Miggins]: I am thrilled to announce my partnership with @ProfanityParaffins who decided to collaborate with a curated selection of NFT artists to celebrate their brand, in coordination with their placement in this years "Oscar Week” 2021 Celebrity Gifting Suite Swag Bag. @ProfanityParaffins brand contrasts sweet + sacred imagery with the profane; My imagery here ties to the sweet + sacred side of their brand.
*This NFT is comprised of a 1219 × 1673 image (JPEG) as part of an edition of 11 (plus 3 additional Artists Proofs to be held within the artist's collection).
