その日の食卓では、普段飲んでいるものとは違う味のするお茶が並んでいました。「よく分かったわね、新しいお茶よ」奥さんから差し出されたお茶のパッケージには、「アイデンティ・ティー」と書かれていました。自分の存在が何なのかさえ分からずに過ごしていた、あの歳の夜を思い出すような…そんな味がしました。
