Bonsai is a new way to Q&A.
Question:
What band had the greatest impact on you growing up?...
Answer:
The band, the biggest impact on me growing up was probably Nirvana. I only got into him the year Kurt Cobain passed away. And the first album I had was their unplugged album. I was starting to learn how to play guitar, sort of popular music. And I remember that album had a couple of songs that had these like satisfying, relatively easy pentatonic run solos. So I learned those. I still play them today and it was a lot of fun listening to. And there, you know, I had a couple of blues blues cover in it, which was cool at the end, the lead belly cover and yeah, just a great album all around and something that takes me right back to a very specific time and place.
