This snowflake certainly is one of my all-time favorites. This large stellar dendrite (around 5 millimeters from tip to tip) slightly molten and partially covered with tiny bubbles of rime. I like it's massive tree-like arms and large hexagonal center, divided by six sectors. This crystal remind me tiny planet of Little Prince, which is teared apart by roots of six overgrown baobabs.
This interesting crystal was captured December 2014 on glass surface with LED back lighting. 11 identical photos, taken as fast series, was averaged to boost signal/noise ratio of resulting image.
