Tour of Britain 2016 Stage 1 - Glasgow › Castle Douglas 67th--Rohan Dennis - Rohan ends up second overall in this stage race, placing second on the stage 7a Time Trial stage and then winning the afternoon stage 7b. It wasn't enough to overhaul Steve Cummings for the overall win, but a very fine performance. This stage was a chill stage and just riding in the peloton. There were a couple of hard efforts as evidenced by the FRC chart, which is displayed at the bottom of the artwork. Every time the top line drops down means that Rohan had to go over his FTP to stay with the peloton. Artist Nick Hand creates a stunning series of impressionist art here for this stage race with scenes from the British countryside and cityscape, along with classic British architecture. Zoom in to see the details of the artwork and how he uses a topo relief map on it as well to create a unique feeling of texture. Nick also hides the data so well in many of these pieces that you will really have to look to find it. Contains bio-metric data file. Artist: Nick Hand.
