This poem was inspired by the song "Pasoori" by Shae Gill and Ali Sethi. The lyrics are so meaningful and I'm in love.
The romantic language is urdu, You tell me my love is like poison, And you will chug it down like beer, I will tear my heart apart to offer my soul to you.
The ancient language reminds me of the sacrifice, That a moghul made to honor his dead wife, Using the finest marble to build the architecturally famous monument, Only for it to rot at the hands of those who never will understand love
Urdu is the most romantic language, For you can curse me to a love of doom, And i would still worship the ground you walk on, For I am just in awe of the words that spill from your mouth.

Vulnerability 1.0 is a collection that takes after my own suffering and pain as I went through my mental health journey. It is representative of finding solace in words that found its expression in my poetry. As the name suggests, vulnerability is a state of being extremely open to criticism and judgment from anyone and anything. I personally believe that being vulnerable requires a tremendous amount of courage and I see this as the first step to encouraging more people to do the same.
