Dislike of physical touch is another one of my quirks that I am putting out there for I literally cannot stand the thought of physical intimacy. It feels weird putting it out there, but this is who I am.
I yearn to be loved like a lover, A touch full of fire and passion, Yet nothing in between us to wither.
Nonetheless, I cannot fathom the thought, Of your arms wrapped around my waist, Or the way you let your fingertips graze my arm.
I shuddered from your grasp, Eager to get away, Far from your clutches, For your touch made me shrink, Withdrawing myself further and further from reality.

Vulnerability 1.0 is a collection that takes after my own suffering and pain as I went through my mental health journey. It is representative of finding solace in words that found its expression in my poetry. As the name suggests, vulnerability is a state of being extremely open to criticism and judgment from anyone and anything. I personally believe that being vulnerable requires a tremendous amount of courage and I see this as the first step to encouraging more people to do the same.
