Anxiety as the name suggests, encompasses the feeling of helplessness as this overwhelming sense of dread envelops me.
I could breathe, but my lungs were not filling with air. At least not completely, Each breath- left me wanting more, Needing more Each gasp- a call for more air, Choking my throat with such vigour, I knew I would not make it to the other side. I succumbed to the pain, Letting the bliss consume me, Until I reunited, With the sinner who belonged in heaven.

Vulnerability 1.0 is a collection that takes after my own suffering and pain as I went through my mental health journey. It is representative of finding solace in words that found its expression in my poetry. As the name suggests, vulnerability is a state of being extremely open to criticism and judgment from anyone and anything. I personally believe that being vulnerable requires a tremendous amount of courage and I see this as the first step to encouraging more people to do the same.
