"Logging is Good for Tigers"

On the back of some very questionable remarks made by a Malaysian Forestry Official, this artwork serves as a dystopian outlook if logging policies and practices do not reform and learn to be more sensitive and respectful towards the pristine Malaysian rainforests and its unique biodiversity.

The lone tiger stares blankly into an eroded rainforest, hungry and confused underneath a red Chinese lantern, almost as if to send out an emergency S.O.S to call for help. As she stood helpless into her once majestic home, now flooded and unrecognisable, she cannot help but wonder if there is any future for her left in the Malaysian forests.

This Lunar New Year of the Tiger, please do not forget to be kinder to our surroundings and be more sensitive in the messages we send out to others.
