Everyone says, "Beauty is more than skin deep" yet studies show that it takes just a fraction of a second for a stranger to decide if we are beautiful or not. It may be our nature to make quick judgments like this, but it doesn't mean we can't revise those judgments upon the discovery of further information. Does it? In some cultures it is nearly impossible to be considered beautiful unless you weigh less than X. South Korea is one of those cultures, though it is slowly changing.
