‘Caution Wet Floor’, is part of a series of short performance-videos exploring dreams and their potential to be a reservoir of political information. Created and produced by Syrian German choreographer Mey Seifan, part of her 10 years research ‘Syrian Dreams Project’, 'Caution Wet Floor' explores a world of condensed symbols, through dark comedy, science fiction aesthetics, and a sense of helplessness. A figure dressed in a hazmat suit enters into impossible tasks, never to be completed, stuck in a loop eternalized on the blockchain. Mey Seifan considers the blockchain to be a space suitable for exploring dreams, a space that allows for condensation, speed, and density of information. This work is a unique digital collectible from one of the pioneers of contemporary dance and experimental performance in the Middle East, marking Mey Seifan's NFT debut
