Detroit artist, Sean Bieri, started sketching down a path with no particular destination in mind. Inspirational stops along the way took on the essences of Catholic iconography, Star Wars mythology and Heavy Metal Magazine. Vivid vector illustrations began to materialize with symmetrical patterns reminiscent of stained glass windows and 80s sci-fi comic books. Each of the five figures of from this collection gaze knowingly at the viewer ... paradoxically, like ancient religious icons from a far-flung future.
