Mentha lives in seclusion at the far rim of the Kintari Empire. This does not mean she lacks company. Individuals from all inhabited space flock far and wide to visit the Oracle of Amar.

Abandoned as an infant on a vacant colony world, Mentha was not raised by Kintari parents, but by the Citza slaves who found her. This also condemned Mentha to indenturement by association, but that would all change when she turned sixteen.

Mentha quickly manifested powers in not one, but multiple psionic domains. Telekinesis, dark energy, telepathy, and even prophecy were soon at her disposal. It was this final domain in which she would find her fortune.

The family that adopted her still lives with Mentha. Legally they are her slaves, though Mentha hardly treats them as such. Instead, they remain her first and only family and share in their newfound generational wealth generated from Mentha's whispered prophecies.
