Tealla the Shade is another of the Ghenza's more infamous agents. Using her mastery of teleportation and her brutal skills with her wrist blades, her targets are left shredded before anyone even discovers she was there.

Tealla is another example of the Empire's ability to adequately find and nurture talent. Though she lacked the usual noble bloodlines, her psionic prowess was evident at an early age. Her keen intelligence, rather than being nurtured in a classroom, was sharpened in back-alleys. The Empress's loss ultimately proved to be the Collective's gain.

When one of their agents went missing in the field, the Ghenza Laguerta was dispatched to determine what had transpired. She found her sister's body in an alley and traced her killer back to Tealla's hideaway. Imagine Laguerta's surprise to discover that her fellow assassin had been dispatched by a girl no more than 13 cycles old. Rather than eliminate Tealla, Laguerta recruited her, giving Tealla the home and family she'd lacked in her childhood.
