In the Symmetry Series I was searching for the ideal symmetry. The motives I used are duck feathers I collected on the Lucerne Lace in Switzerland, a dahlia from my mum's garden, the golden element, that looks like a golden cloud is the robe from the Siegessäule in Berlin, standing directly under it and that golden Spick is from the Louvre in Paris. The brown glimmering stone is a carved amber from the amber museum at the Ostsee.

Catch a treasure moment in time.
As an artist I document unspectacular but aesthetically beautiful moments in my everyday life. My goal with capturing these moments is to remember them better. My collages are my approach to transport the feeling I had capturing those little details one by one. I want to show you how fascinating these little details can become. A little break in every day life has the power to slow you down, letting you appreciate only a moment in time. These little beautiful things that surround you every day, but that you have forgotten to see, can be treasures. So slow down and take a little moment. Catch your strength in them. And maybe you will start to see them soon in your everyday life.
