Performance: Open Crochet by Young MAK

Realization of digital Bitcoins as textile crochet coins. Collaborative and economic mining of innovative crochet Bitcoins by Young MAK crochet workers. Handmade without needing computing power. 70 crochet Bitcoin artifacts are mounted on the Coins Rug.

Digital transformation of the Coins Rug by PECI.wien into an NFT with an edition of 100 pieces. As reward for mining creative crochet Bitcoins, crochet workers are offered NFTs from the series.

The video shows how the textile Coins Rug flies from MAK to the Metaverse and back to Vienna.
