This cosmos holds no significance for me. I have never been able to understand exactly what it is. It’s perhaps too enormous for someone like me to contemplate. Recently, however, an understanding deeper than mere intellectual comprehension was revealed to me. A short while ago I experienced my imagination at work, firsthand. And it was deeply unsettling.

This led me to ask some fundamental questions about my role as a possible co-creator of all that is. I know that sounds mad. I may well have become unhinged, or at least, unfastened. It’s a risky assertion, but I’m left asking myself; have I got god-like powers? Am I special?

There’s a few other unsettling questions that bug me. What if, up to now, I’ve been creating everything in my life unconsciously? What if I’ve just been letting my imagination run wild, chaotically fleeing the mind’s silly fears, anxieties, and exaggerated dangers? What if I have the power to change the course of my life simply by imagining a better path?

What if I could harness this potent imagination of mine to create anything I desire? What if all the discipline it takes to achieve a favourable result is a commitment to be conscious of everything I’m imagining?

Anyway, for the time being, I’ll keep moving. It’s too risky staying put for too long. There’s people out there who’d like to hurt me if they got hold of me. Maybe I’ll find a Mahjee who can guide me through the mess my life has descended into.

Maybe I’ll dream up a Mahjee who can come to my rescue.
