The official policy of the Provisional Communard Government of Kusht prohibits the use or promotion of Mahjuti Technology. However, after the revolution, the Communard Council made an unsettling discovery.

Before they escaped over the sea, the Royal Family plundered the treasury, stripping it bare of anything valuable. This presented a troubling challenge for the Provisional Government. How were they going to pay the soldiers and sailors who had been the backbone of the revolution? Where would they find the funds to manage the Civil Service and Police Guards?

Within a week of declaring their new administration, the Provisional Communard Government was already facing a possibly terminal threat with no money to pay for anything.

That’s when Shinnock the Croak, who was, by that stage, a political prisoner, approached the Ruling Council to offer his services. In exchange for immunity from prosecution and the freedom to live and practice as a Mahjee, Shinnock promised to create a glyph that would draw in vast amounts of wealth to the new Republic.

After an emergency session of the Communard Council, Shinnock was granted the opportunity to make good on his promise. He was released from prison, created his glyph, and promptly vanished. However, within days, a farmer in the remote west of Kusht came upon a crashed airship loaded with most of the gold from the Royal Treasury.

Shinnock’s success was declared a state secret and, in breach of their agreement, the Council placed a hefty reward on his head. This deprived him of bragging rights, but it also allowed him to on-sell his glyph to several rival parties.

Veil Of The Gods - GLYPHS collection image

A collection of Glyphs used in Caiseal Mor's Graphic Novel story, Veil Of The Gods. This scifi-fantasy story features a magical system based on the ideas of Austin Osman Spare- a well-known 20th century artist and magical practitioner.

Spare played around with medieval ideas of magic, especially the Norse magical tradition of Galdr and came up with his own system based on graphics to empower his spells. He called them sigils.

We've developed his ideas much further for the storyline of Veil of the Gods. We call the symbolic designs GLYPHS, rather than sigils and we've named the system of magic in Veil of the Gods - MAHJUTI.

Each glyph has its own unique attributes and qualities.

Only 33 will ever be minted in this collection!

Holders of any of the pieces from this collection will be automatically whitelisted for our upcoming DESTINY CARD DECK COLLECTION (a very special drop). Revealing soon!
