This is a take on a classic americano, which uses plum and sage to replicate freshness and aromas from the classic Aperitif. Culturally the "Aperitivo" is an all Italian habit and we like to imagine Super Mario having a couple of these between work and saving the princess. The link simply is related to the working class drink, a working class hero and the words "plum" / "plumber". Fresh plums and fresh sage are key to the final result!
The idea behind this work is to highlight how shape and colour influence the perception of flavours. The frame on which the ingredients are used is a link between Classic cocktails and Classic Retro Gaming. 3 retro main characters still living up to date because of their success over the past generations, are paired to 3 cocktails which have classic shapes but modern ingredients. Each NFT comes with Ingredients specs and instructions on how to make them.
