The material removal system consists of 6 conveyor belts integrated into the pipes we use to construct the tunnel structure. It also includes an auger conveyor, which enables removing all mined material from the drilling process.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the future of mobility. We see tunnels as a technology destined for disruption and want to shape the future of tunneling with innovative concepts. Currently, we aim to build the world’s fastest tunnel boring machine (TBM) and won Elon Musk’s Not-a-Boring Competition together with the Technical University of Munich. Our team was selected from nearly 400 teams worldwide and claimed the victory in the US in September 2021.
