Melvin Bratton is a former American professional running back who has played in the NFL for the Denver Broncos. During his time in the NFL, he scored the winning touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the 1984 Miami-Boston College game, Bratton scored four touchdowns, including a 52-yard touchdown that would have sealed the game for Miami if not for the Hail Mary. Bratton joined the Atlanta Falcons as a scout in 1997. Bratton joined the Washington Redskins as the coordinator of NFC pro personnel in 2000. Bratton is currently employed by Vantage Management Group.
