In Native American tribes, the hummingbird symbolizes a person’s spirit free from physical constraints. Furthermore, in many cultures, it denotes eternal life. In this artwork, I showcase a hummingbird inspecting a grave to lay eggs and thus initiate the cycle of life and death.
