Daily hand drawing on the evolution of Horse Chesnut stem in spring from my perspective. Technical sketch inspired from the 19th botanical studies. Ancourt, France. Date: April 22nd 2022
"Philippe Bemberg's work is situated on the three fields that occupy his life: landscaping, artistic discipline and a civic conscience.
At a time in his history when mankind is seeking to better understand its place in the environment that surrounds it as well as its impact on it, his work proposes a reflection on what unites us, on our origins and the extension of the living in its entirety.
The artist has to find a way to make the world work and has to get out of the intellectual and reasonable presupposition. In this search for the absolute, his art seeks to be a bridge between disciplines (graphics, engraving, photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, landscaping, gardening) and people. The use of different materials is a way to create a complete and complex universe conducive to the realisation of the self and the other.
