Artwork created in collaboration with the WOMBO Dream AI engine. Text is entered and used to generate abstract art in a variety of optional styles – etchings, steampunk, baroque, fantasy art, and so forth.

I don’t know what they used to train their AI, but no matter how many times I tried, it kept depicting someone with red hair, very much like David Bowie in the film.

Files is 3300px x 5100px (11" x 17") in uncompressed PNG format, suitable for printing.

NB to collectors: This was the first image in the first collection of NFTs I ever made, right here, this one. You're lookin' at it. Proceed accordingly. :)

Appropriate on a number of levels. I think Bowie's name will be writ larger in history than anyone realizes. Never met him, but was only one hop away via many bandmates. Example: I'm in The Bentmen. Bowie stole Reeves from us to make Tin Machine. True fact. No hard feelings!

Also worked with Gail Ann Dorsey in Satellite Paradiso, but I'll leave that to you and Google.

Anyway, here's this amazing image, which seemed to me the perfect one to kick off this adventure.

Cult Movies vs. AI collection image

Subversive, AI-assisted fine art, created in confrontation with WOMBO. Sized at 11" x 17" - suitable for framing. Uncompressed PNG @ 300dpi. NFT originals, only one of each.

Brought to you by GojirAI NFTs. Where artificial intelligence meets natural stupidity Curated by BoredApe Drummin'd

A human/machine partnership. A surrealist game. Feed the machine some words. It gives you art. I have a weird sense of humor. Rather than use their suggestions (“rainbow dolphin”), I gave it things like “Eraserhead.” Feast your eyes – if you dare!

My M.O. is always to make art out of whatever the bleeding edge is, usually by trying to break it, and tweak noses in the process. An unrepentant punk sensibility. Same thing here. Crashing this party.

These images have the spirit of the original movie. I tended to like first attempts best, when it made the most mistakes. For artists, mistakes are often hidden intentions. Teach that to the AI!
