The Makowski Gallery was founded in December 2012 by Rusa Makowski in Berlin. The gallery focuses on international, contemporary art from the fields of painting, graphics, photografie, and sculpture.
The artworks originate both from artists already established on the art market and from new, creative talents. One of the gallery's major goals is to discover young artists and provide them with a platform to showcase their diversity and uniqueness. The gallery's international focus allows it not only to discover new talents but also to promote them all around the world.
Besides exhibitions in Berlin, the artworks are also presented at numerous national and international art fairs. In addition to the Berlin headquarters, galleries in Beijing, New York, and Paris are in the pipeline.
Currently, 47 artists from 26 countries are represented by the gallery.
