In 1956, Horace Miner first used the word "Nacirema" in an article "Body Ritual among the Nacirema" in "American Anthropologist".

Poland is a country that has always belonged to the culture of Eastern Europe in terms of mental, identity and ideological aspects, but has stayed with the countries of the West in terms of technology and science.

In 2009, Poland was in between [as always]. The conflicts between new technologies and media [from the West] and the mentality, religious attitude and mindset [from the East] continued to increase. In order to combine the national character with the future and development, it was necessary to convince the society of the technological future and put into question the thinking about the past.

I could only present it with a joke or sarcasm, so I made some kind of altar and this is how the work "The Ikalopi tribe worships their deities - God Koobeton surrounded by Arutaiwalk and Zsym" was created. I used a few spelled backward words: Ikalopi => Polish, Koobeton => Notebook, Arutaiwalk => Keyboard, and Zsym => Mouse.

I was inspired by Miner and at the same time wondering about the reverse of the words, the meaning and the giving of a new meaning for forming and perceiving new quality. The work is an NFT project, consisting of a written history, concept and photo that I took in 2009.
