Africa. The motherland. The birth place of mankind. This is the continent that has a fascinating history and a people like no other. This collection is about the African people in all our uniqueness and colorful splendor. Indeed we vary from each other in so many ways, spanning across 54 countries on the continent and yet we are one people.
From the Zulu nation in the most southern part of the continent all the way up to the pharaohs in the sands of Egypt, Africa is truly magnificent. The rich tapestry of our landscapes has connected many a visitor to something truly special. The various costumes in this collection show off our diversity, and at the same time speak to our unity. It may seem odd to find an image of a Masai tribesman wearing a Ndebele head dress in this collection, but that’s alright, because whichever way you look at it, we are all still African. We hope to encourage travel and tourism to the continent of Africa.
