This artwork is based on the river named ''Jhelum'' which refers to the jhelum river that flows through Kashmir. The scene is from winter, when trees are leafless and grey. It gives the feeling of Chilai Kalan (the severe cold weather in Kashmir). This painting is special to me because it was the painting that i not only enjoyed but i felt it in my heart.
