This artwork connects individual aspects of historic, current and futuristic elements. On first sight, a robotic frame takes the forms of The Creation of Adam, Michelangelo Buonarroti, guiding the eyes to the discovery of a city full of lights, before feeling the calm arising between the synergy of past, present and a possible insight in life’s future forms. As being carried by the animation and music, the viewers imagination has a space to conclude further details via their own perspective and experiences.  Abruptly ending movements are to provoke resistance with the viewer to internalize and reflect on the change and steady throughout time. Dancing shadows allow connection to individual experiences and connections.  Might it transfer the ambient of a chimney during the fervent period of European culture, or the artificial lights from a screen on a cozy winter night for a Millenials “Netflix-and-chill”.

This work invites us to return to the present, being aware of all the technological progress made. It invites the audience to take the time to get lost among the many lights and motions, inspiring the joy of fascination about our golden age. Until the next one.
