EX-Pat Munki is a project that started in 2003. Its main purpose was a response to the Iraq war.
From there it has had various iterations. It was a logo for the defunct Punk / Hip Hop Group in Atlanta known as the Ex-Patriots, it then was displayed at the Alan Avery Art Company in 2005, and in 2007 it was licensed out to a streetwear/skateboard brand Sol Munki.
Today its namesake has changed to the projects they were once part of. EX-Pat Munki Collection has its ties to urban culture and was designed with modern streetwear aesthetics. The project is a compilation of pop culture references represented in a "QUTE" fashion.
