Bidaai (or Vidai) is another essential ceremony and one of the last to be performed at the bride’s house. It’s an emotional roller-coaster moment for the bride and her family as this is a farewell ceremony for the bride, encouraging her to start a new life with her husband. There are happy moments when everyone blesses the bride with a life full of happiness and love. But there is also an overwhelming sense of loss.
