The couple’s wedding ring and other objects, such as coins and dry fruits, are immersed in the vessel containing milk, turmeric and rose petals. As the bowl is presented to the couple, the groom must use one hand and the bride both to find the rings. Whoever finds the rings is the dominant partner in an equal marriage.
