About me? Man, I just fucking love creating and consuming art. I'm unhealthily obsessed.

I am a 5th generation performer and have jumped into all the creative endeavors that have presented themselves to me. I grew up acting, joined a band when I was 16 and at the same time I was modeling commercial, runway and editorial. I then switched to creative directing and styling in fashion too.

After the band split up I slept on couch pillows for six months in my friend's studio and learned how to produce before spending every cent I had on a visa to move to America. Two weeks before my flight, I met her…

She was and will always be the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen, Stephanie… Even a french name! From the day we first met, we didn’t leave each other's side for over a week. It felt impossible to imagine not being together, I had real thoughts of struggling to remember life without her even though that reality was merely days prior.

How To Be Us is a retrospective song looking back at every moment of those first months together. Falling for her, feeling like we wouldn't be able to be together, moving across the world and finally proposing to her after six months… I wanted to capture the duality of how it felt to meet the love of your life as you were planning to leave and never come back.
