When I was little, I experienced a lot of body shaming from a person . It left emotional scars. I grew up feeling ugly, ashamed of how I looked. I wanted plastic surgery for my nose, legs, face till one day I heard some one say what’s beautiful to one, may not be beautiful to everyone. It broke the lies that I took in for so long about myself. Even thought we might feel like our opinion is all that matters, we still all want to be looked at, appreciated. I realized we are a like a painting that someone created. The painting might catch very few art collectors eyes. It doesn’t mean we are not beautiful. It just means beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We are all meant to be found beautiful by someone just like a painting on a wall or an artwork.
