Siren of Sirenum Scopuli is the temptress beholden to a chain of jagged, sharp, tall islands off the coast of mainland Greece. Volo depicts this mythical siren as a devious, sadistic temptress capable of luring in the most powerful of seamen through an exquisite palette of colour.

Siren of Sirenum Scopuli is dominant, intelligent and playfully holds a serpent, the Biblical symbol of trickery and evil. Yet serpents are also known to represent fertility and rebirth. Perhaps Siren of Sirenum Scopuli desires more than playful love.⁠

Her tattoos are an acknowledgment to both the seafarer and her ancient bird-like ancestors.⁠

Many sailors will avoid her eyes as they have been warned of her intentions. However, she shrewdly places another set of eyes where one cannot avoid.⁠
