The Bhirm Pearl is a glossy, hard spherical marvel of the sea produced inside the shell of tasty Bhirm oysters which are found, strangely enough, on the island of Bhrim.

The pearl is composed of infinitesimal, crystalline formed calcium carbonate, which has been deposited in concentric layers.

When a pearl shows exemplary form in being both completely smooth and flawlessly round, they are priced similar to that of precious gems and are an iconic symbol of natural beauty.

Because of this, the Bhrim pearl has become a metonymy for something unique, exquisite, and highly valuable.
